MTCs on Ebay May2018

5/1/18

Arizona.  1992 Route 66 Commemorative Coin.  I had not seen this one before.  Struck in antique brass and numbered on the reverse - This one number 150.  The numbered Certificate of Authenticity was included. It started at $9.99 plus $4.00 shipping.  I won it as the second bidder at $10.50.

5/1/18

Hawaii.  1883-1983 King Kalakaua Centennial Dala.  “test Strike” of two  on a scrap of some sort of white metal.  Like the other “test strikes” I list, but the third piece cut off the larger original, and sold singly.  The start was $59.99 ($77.99 BIN) with FREE shipping. No bids, then listed a couple more weeks with the same result.  The same seller is currently offering one of the uncut, 3 piece versions of this piece for $65.00 with FREE shipping.

5/1/18

Idaho, Wallace.  2005 20 Sterlings One Ounce Silver Coin  noting Wallace as “The Center Of The Universe”.  Hmm.  Unknown mintage.  Not previously cataloged. It has a denomination, it commemorates something - so I guess it is a MTC.  The start was $19.99 plus $2.99.  I won it as the second bidder at $21.00.

5/2/18

Minnesota.  1958 Centennial Half Dollar Uniface, golden bronze, holed.  Graded MS-65 and encapsulated by NGC.  Start $8.00 plus $4.50.  It sold for $77.00 after 10 bids by 4 bidders.

5/2/18

Ohio, Akron.  1925 Centennial 50¢  Discount Coin , private issue for Akron Truss Company.  NGC MS-65.  Offered for $99.00 with FREE shipping.  There were no bids, and the listing was ended unsold.

5/2/18

Oregon.  1959 State Centennial Half Dollar, Uniface, Golden Brass. HK-565. The unholed with smoke variety.  Graded MS 63 PL by NGC - which except for the widespread rust stains and numerous scratches on the reverse, it was.  Offered for an $8.00 plus $4.50 start the piece brought $59.88 after 7 bids by 5 bidders.  Another seller is offering a couple other NGC graded examples of this piece right now: An MS-64 No Smoke, Large Hole variety for $87.95 BIN with FREE shipping, and a No Smoke, Small Hole variety, MS-65, for $118.95 BIN.

5/2/18

Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.  1926 U. S. Sesquicentennial Treasure Island Doubloon.  About Uncirculated.  Start $5.95 with FREE shipping. Sold for $16.05 after 4 bids by 3 bidders.

5/3/18

Arizona, Tucson.  1933 Wolfville Western Days Dollar. MS62 BN, and in a NGC slab.  Just a trace of red left, with the normal contact marks and a few carbon spots.  Start 99¢ with FREE shipping.  After 7 bids from 7 different bidders, it sold for $31.00.

5/3/18

Washington, Aberdeen.  1933 Old Ironsides / Samuel Benn Wooden Quarter.  Start $25.00 with FREE shipping.  No bids. On June 2, the price was dropped to $15.00, and after 2 more weeks to $10.00.  Still available, with the current listing ending on July 4.

5/4/18

Michigan, Grayling (Camp Grayling).  1949 Canoe Championship Quarter.  About Uncirculated, nicer than most - at least a MS63 according to NGC standards.  It started at 95¢ plus $3.25 and sold for $3.33 after 5 bid s from 4 bidders.

5/5/18

Iowa, Victor.  1968 Centennial Half Dollar.  Mintage 2,500.  Catalog value $6.00.  This was a BIN item that Ebay pointed out to me that had a $7.00 plus $3.00 start.  When I realized that this token had not been posted in these listings yet, I decided to try the Make Offer option.  I bid $5.00 and the offer was immediately accepted.  I guess this one was harder to find than I thought!

5/6/18

Alabama, Mobile.  1961 250th Anniversary Half Dollar - 6 Flags version.  Graded MS-65 and encapsulated by NGC. Fairly graded.  The start was $14.99 plus $3.00. No bids, and after 2 more weeks as a BIN item at the same price, ended unsold y the seller.

5/6/18

Colorado, Durango.  1984/85 Narrow Gauge Train Rotary Club Two Dollars.  Start $6.55.  Postage $2.90. No bids. The item was relisted at the same price as a Buy It Now item until July 1 without bids, which is when the seller ended the item because “the item is no longer available”.

5/6/18

Idaho, Wallace.  1971 Private issue Good For One Christmas or New Years Drink.  The same token I discussed on November 27, 1971, but this one in a NGC slab and graded MS-64.  This time there were two bidders who each placed single bids, and it sold for $17.00.  I still have not decided if I should list it.

5/6/18

Illinois, Chicago.  1893 Columbian Exposition Irish Village $1,000.  Very fine - the obverse suffering from tin pest.  The start was $49.00 plus $3.00 and it brought $58.75 after 4 bids from 3 bidders.

5/6/18

Kansas, Stevens County.  1961 75th Anniversary Half Dollar.  Extremely Fine.  This one had a $6.50 plus $1.50 ($9.95 BIN) start, but received no bids. When it received no bids, it became available only as a BIN item and remains available today, two months down the line.  The seller calls the token from Washington - but it absolutely is Kansas.

5/6/18

Maine, Cumberland County.  1960 200th Anniversary Half Dollar.  NGC MS-64.  Slabbed. The grading was close enough - I’d give it a 63.  It did not sell, so the seller resisted it as a BIN item at ta slightly lowered $14.95, and for some reason, ended it the same day.

5/6/18

Michigan, Big Rapids.  1955 Centennial Quarter.  Uncirculated, but with some slight toning spots.  Start $4.99 plus $3.00 postage.  On June first it became a Buy It Now item at the same price, and for the current listing - ending July 8 - it remains a $4.99 BIN item, but the postage is FREE.

5/6/18

Mississippi, Vicksburg.  1963 Civil War Siege Centennial Half Dollar. Start $1.50 plus 70¢ shipping. It sold for $3.55 after 4 bids by 3 bidders. The same seller offered another for the same start that ended on May 27.  There were 2 bids and it sold for $4.55.

5/6/18

Oregon, Albany.  1959 Oregon Centennial Half Dollar. Encapsulated and graded MS-66 by NGC.  A very pretty coin, well worth this lofty grade!  Sold to a single bidder at the $14.95 plus $3.00 opening bid.

5/6/18

Oregon, Joseph.  1959 Oregon Centennial Half Dollar.  Graded (properly, I think) by NGC as MS66 and housed in one of those little plastic coin coffins.  Sold to a single bidder for the $14.99 plus $3.00 start.  Currently (July 6) there is another one, also NGC MS-66, available for $97.00 with FREE shipping, Buy It Now.

5/6/18

Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.  1926 U. S. Sesquicentennial Treasure Island Doubloon - Uniface type with Liberty Bell and skull and crossbones.  This one with the soldered-on pin mechanism still attached to the reverse.  About Uncirculated.  Started at $7.00 with FREE shipping, this one sold for $15.50 after two bids.

5/6/18

South Dakota, Sioux Falls.  1961 Dakota Territory Centennial Half Dollar.  Cooperating variety.  Encapsulated and graded MS-66 by NGC.  The golden plating worn off the lead oxen’s nose, shoulder, and hip - as well as from the front of the conestoga wagon’s canvas cover.  Although otherwise “pretty”, I do not feel it deserves a MS designation at all - much less the lofty MS-66 which should be reserved for superior gem quality specimens.  At $14.99 plus $3.00 it did not sell anyway, and was listed one additional week as a slightly reduced $14.95 BIN item before being ended, unsold, by the seller.  Another of these closed today, a nice uncirculated example still in the original cellophane envelope attached to an informational card.  It sold to a single bidder for the 99¢ plus $3.75 start.

5/6/18

Washington, Walla Walla.  1959 Special Edition Copper Centennial 59¢ Buck.  Graded MS-62 RB and encapsulated by NGC.  Offered for a start of $14.99 plus $3.00 shipping.  No bids. Listed one more week as a BIN item at the slightly reduced price of $14.95, then ended unsold.

5/7/18

Arizona, Lake Havasu City.  1993/1994 Havasu Dollar in the standard copper finish.  Out there looking for a $5.00 plus $2.80 bid, but that price was not met and the seller ended his listing.

5/7/18

Arizona, Lake Havasu City.  1996/1997 London Bridge Commemorative Coin in antiqued copper, the standard finish for that year’s coins.  The start was $5.00, and postage an additional $2.80.  There were no bids and the item was not relisted.

5/7/18

Hawaii.  1883-1983 King Kalakaua Centennial Dala - Three partial strikes on 3 of the 4 corners of a piece of scrap nickel-silver.  Mintage Unknown.  Not cataloged.
Start $299.00 plus $6.95 shipping. No bids.

5/7/18

Indiana, New Albany.  1963 Sesquicentennial Nickel.  Very slightly worn - or more likely weakly struck.  Start $5.50.  Postage $3.00.  No bids.  Not relisted.

5/7/18

Montana, Billings.  1971 Charles Russell Midland State Fair Dollar.  The start was $8.88 with FREE shipping.  No one bid so the seller relisted it for $12.49 plus $3.25 shipping, Buy It Now.  Still available two months later, but if you move quickly you can snag it on sale for a full 25% off, just $9.37 plus shipping.  I do not understand the reasoning of some Ebay sellers.  I think they must think we are really stupid.

5/7/18

Ohio, Brunswick.  1965 Sesquicentennial Half Dollar.  Bright Uncirculated except for a rust spot on the obverse.  Start 95¢ plus $3.25 shipping.  There were 9 bids from 4 bidders and this token ended up bringing $6.00.

5/7/18

Ohio, Milan.  1959 Homecoming and Melon Festival Half Dollar.  ANGC graded and encapsulated MS-66.  The same one from last July, still hanging around at the same BIN price of $29.00 plus $6.95 shipping.  The current listing ends on July 11.

5/7/18

Ohio, Norwalk (Firelands).  1959 Sesquicentennial Half Dollar.  Encapsulated and graded MS-64 by NGC.  The same piece from last July, still being listed for the same opening bid of $29.00 plus $6.95.  Still an auction item at the same start, with the rest listing set to end on July 10.

5/8/18

Arizona, Casa Grande.  1979/1979 Centennial Dollar.  Start $8.00.  Postage $2.85.  Listed for one additional week as an auction item, then made a BIN item at the same price.  Listed until June 22 when the lot was ended unsold.

5/8/18

Illinois, St. Francisville.  1962 Sesquicentennial Half Dollar.  A very pretty Uncirculated example.  Sold to a single bidder at the $2.95 plus $1.00 shipping.

5/8/18

Kansas, Frankfort.  1967 Centennial Half Dollar Struck In Sterling Silver.  This one numbered 37 on the edge.  Unknown mintage.  Catalog value $22.50.  The start was 99¢ plus $3.50 shipping.  It sold for $37.88 after 8 bids by 5 bidders.  One of those bids does not count, because it was an additional bid by the winner, placed in case he was outbid, and it did not need to be used.

5/8/18

Washington, Bremerton.  1933 Old Ironsides Wooden Quarters.  Lot of 10 pieces, Uncirculated.  The start was $29.99 plus $3.50 shipping.  No bids this week, and when no one bid the following week (same start), the seller terminated the listing

5/8/18

Wisconsin, Milwaukee.  1902 Jahrmarkt Dime. Round brass version, looped.  About Uncirculated - loop removed. This variety not previously listed.  I was the only bidder for this item at the $8.00 plus $1.25 start.

5/9/18

Mississippi, Laurel.  1957 Diamond Jubilee Masonite Money.  One-quarter of the gold printing gone from the front, half from the back.  The condition, as described by the seller, “very weak”.  Still after its 99¢ plus $2.75 start, this scarce item attracted 4 bids from four different people, and brought $3.33.

5/10/18

Kansas.  1961 Official Centennial Coin for Pawnee County.  I am kind of surprised that there were no bids for this problem-free uncirculated piece at its $2.99 plus $3.50 start.  Apparently the two that sold last week for less money satisfied the interested bidders. Not relisted.

5/11/18

Indiana, Cass County.  1981 Ironhorse Festival Dollar.  Start $2.95.  Postage $3.50.  It lasted four more weeks at the same start until someone came along and won it at its opening bid on July 7.

5/11/18

Michigan, Upper Peninsula.  Undated Upper Peninsula Dollar. Some times these bring very high prices, sometimes very low.  The seller suggested that the mintage for these is just 1,000 pieces.  I think that estimate is much, much to low.  If it was that rare some one should have jumped on it right away at its $4.95 plus $1.00 start.  Nobody did and it came back the next week for $3.95 plus a buck- still with no bids.  The start was lowered to $2.95 plus a dollar for shipping, and that finally worked.  This time there 3 bids by 2 bidders and it sold for $3.56.

5/11/18

New York, New York.  1909 Hudson Fulton Exposition Henry Hudson Daalder. Silver dollar sized aluminum, HK-370.  NGC says it is in MS-63 condition.  Start $9.99 plus $5.00 and after 11 bids by 8 bidders, it sold for $87.66.

5/12/18

California, Fort Bragg.  1967 Paul Bunyan Days Dollar.  Start $1.99.  Postage $3.00 more.  Sold for $5.50 after 5 bids from 4 bidders.

5/12/18

Hawaii.  1883-1983 King Kalakaua Centennial Dala Struck on an incomplete planchet.  Actually a single cut from the lower position on one of the three coin pieces I have been writing up.  No doubt cut from the two piece item I‘ve mentioned.  That one is missing the lower coin, and this is the lower coin from one of three coin pieces. And…they are from the same seller.  Up for bid starting at $35.00 with FREE shipping.  It sold to a single bidder, but came back for some reason and has been re-offered for the same price.  The current listing ends on July 11.  Another seller has one of the usual three coin versions of this item looking for someone to meet their opening bid of $299.00 plus $6.95.  Available until July 14.  I doubt anyone will bid because the guy who has been selling most of these has one for a start of $75.00, and no one is bidding.

5/12/18

Iowa, Emmetsburg.  1973 Irish Dollar.  Start $4.95 plus $2.66.  Still available as aBIN item at the same price.  The current listing ends on August 2.

5/12/18

Iowa, Emmetsburg.  2001 Irish Dollar.  Start $4.95 plus $2.66. On the first of July it was made a BIN item at the same price, and it remains available.  The current listing ends on August 2.

5/12/18

Iowa, Pella.  2006 Tulip Time Dutch Dollar.  Mintage 1,200.  Too new to be in the latest edition of the catalog.  Start $4.95 plus $2.66.  No bids.  As of July 9 it is still available as a Buy It Now item.  Ever wonder why you do not see very many Pella Dutch Dollars from  the 2000’s?  It is because the mintages have fallen pretty much every year.  Someone ought to buy this one - it’s a bargain at under the issue price of $5.00!

5/12/18

Nebraska, Crawford.  1961 Diamond Jubilee Half Dollar in Antique Nickel-Silver Plate.  Sold to a single bidder for the opening price of 99¢ plus $4.00 shipping.

5/12/18

Oregon, Portland. 1913 Rose Festival Contributors 50¢ Medal.  This one in Very Fine condition, and holed at the top.  Start $9.00 with FREE shipping.  There were no bids, but it was immediately relisted and then cancelled by the seller “because there was an error in the listing”.  I only posted this one because it was holed - which is not usual.  I still do not feel it fits the definition of a MTC.

5/13/18

Illinois, Marseilles.  1935 Centennial Paper Nickel.  A rectangular wooden-nickel style item printed on cardboard.  Unlisted, and probably to remain that way.  Offered for $12.95 plus $3.75.  No bids. Not relisted.

5/14/18

Montana, Wolf Point.  1965 Golden Jubilee Dollar.  Extremely Fine with some spots and edge bumps.  The start: 99¢ plus $4.00.  There were 2 bids and it sold for $1.55.

5/14/18

New York, Troy.  1959 NY Year of History Half Dollar.  XF/AU and a bit spotty. No one was willing to meet the $8.00 plus $2.75 opening, and the item was ended without being relisted.

5/15/18

Kansas.  1941 Pony Express - Coronado Cuarto Centennial Nickel struck in zinc.  One side of these is always toned, as the reverse of this AU example.  Start 99¢ plus $3.50 postage.  Listed  with no bids until July 7 before the seller picked up his marbles and went home.

5/15/18

Oregon, Grants Pass.  1959 Oregon Centennial Half Dollar.  This one had a 99¢ plus 60¢ start and sold to a lone bidder at that price.  A nice price for a nice token!

5/16/18

Hawaii, Kona.  1974 Kona Dollar in Silver.  Numbered 059.  After a $9.99 plus $3.50 start, 6 bidders placed a total of 9 bids and the piece sold for $99.88.

5/17/18

5/17/18

New York, Chatham.  1969 Centennial Commemorative Coins - set of Antique Brass and Silver.  I was the only bidder at its $19.95 plus $2.00 start. From the same seller as the set I lost out on last month.

5/18/18

Illinois, Bradley.  1967 Diamond Jubilee Half Dollar.  About Uncirculated.  Start 95¢. Postage $3.25.  It sold for $3.66 after 4 bids from 3 bidders.

5/18/18

Pennsylvania, Plymouth Borough.  1966 Centennial Half Dollar struck in Brass.  Mintage 500.  Catalog value $7.50.  The seller had 8 of these scarce tokens which were available for $2.99 each plus $2.99 shipping - the second and subsequent items ship for 25¢ each.  Some sharp-eyed collector scooped all 8 of them up.  Unfortunately, it wasn’t me!

5/19/18

Iowa, Logan.  1967 Centennial Half Dollar. Very nice Uncirculated piece numbered 5148.  Started as an auction item at $9.99 with FREE shipping.  Still available, now a BIN item, with the current listing set to end on September 6.

5/20/18

Michigan, Spring Lake.  1969 Centennial Dollar.  Start $2.99 plus $2.99.  Not a bad deal, but still available at the same price.  This item ends on July 19.

5/20/18

Washington, Spokane.  Expo ’74 World’s Fair Dollar.  About Uncirculated. Start $4.95 plus $4.50.  There were no bids and after a couple weeks the listing was ended.  Ebay suggested another one, not quite as nice for $14.99 with FREE shipping as well as another, also very slightly used, for $4.00 plus $1.50.

5/21/18

Alaska, Mantanuska Valley.  1963-1965 30th Anniversary Dollar.  The start was a very reasonable 99¢, but the postage was at the high end - $4.00.  Still, this About Uncirculated piece brought $7.50 after 7 bids by 5 bidders.

5/22/18

Michigan, Antrim County.  1950 Chain-O-Lakes Quarter.  Extremely Fine.  Start $3.50.  Postage just $1.25.  There were 3 bids by two bidders, and it sold for $5.00.

5/23/18

Colorado, Fort Morgan.  1959 Rush to the Rockies Half Dollar.  About Uncirculated.  Sold to a single bidder at the $19.89 with FREE shipping start.

5/23/18

Hawaii.  1883 King Kalakaua Akahi Dala, Signed RHM, in gold anodized aluminum.  Start 99¢ plus $3.99 postage.  There were 8 bids and it sold for $5.50.

5/24/18

Kansas, El Dorado  1971 Centennial Dollar.  Standard antiqued brass - no way to tell if it was the scarcer numbered edge version.  Sold to a single bidder at the $3.00 plus $3.00 opening bid.

5/25/18

Hawaii, Molokai.  1989 Father Damian/St. Philemina Church Kalaupapa Dala in Silver.  Unknown mintage.  Catalog value $25.00.  This is a rather scarce item and the price was $75.00 plus $6.70 shipping.  I wanted it as a duplicate, and I had not seen one in years, so I bought it.  I was a little surprised no one else had bought it during the time it was listed, but I was pleased to get my second copy.  It will be a good trader for me someday!

5/25/18

Massachusetts, Fitchburg.  1964 Bicentennial Half Dollar.  The start was $4.99 plus $2.75 shipping.  There were no bids and it remains available today for the same price, but now only as a BIN item.  The current listing ends on July 30.

5/26/18

Hawaii. 1988 Hawaii Scenic Silver Dala Series, issue #3.  The earlier version with the more distant view of a whale breaching off Lahaina, Maui.  Mintage 300.  Catalog value $35.00.  It was offered for $69.95 with FREE shipping, and had a Make Offer option.  I offered $55.00 and the seller accepted.  Not bad - 25 years ago, when this series was actively collected,  this piece had a wholesale value of $100!  I learned an interesting thing about how Ebay provides information about Buy It Now items by buying this lot: Despite the fact that I was able to buy it for $55.00, Ebay notes that it sold for the original asking price of $69.95!

5/26/18

Idaho, Coeur D’Alene.  1963 Idaho Centennial Half Dollar.  Start 99¢ with a $4.00 postal charge.  The piece sold for $3.33 after 3 bids by 3 people.

5/27/18

Arizona, Flagstaff.  Undated Joe Pyland Indian Pow-Wow Dollar.  Unknown mintage.  Catalog Value $12.50.  A choice AU specimen with a $40.00 plus $3.25 start.  No bids.  It came back at a $35.00 start.  Again, no bids. Then the seller tried at $33.00 and when no one bid, he gave up and ended the listing.

5/27/18

Colorado, Grand Junction.  Undated Lions Club Annual Carnival Dime.  The start was $1.99 and the postage for this nickel-size piece was $6.99 - but it was in Italy, so maybe the cost is justified.  Despite the high postage, the About Uncirculated piece attracted 3 bids from 3 different bidders, and sold for $3.25.

5/27/18

Hawaii.  “1891” Hawaiian Map Akahi Dala 1/2 Ounce Copper.  Token manufacturer reverse.  Start 99¢ with $4.00 added on for postage.  The first of these I’ve seen.  After 7 bids it sold for a remarkable $20.50. On May 31, another brought $6.50 from the same seller.  The next will probably bring less.****Yep, on June 16 the same seller offered another one that sold for $5.51 after 9 bids.  They are getting nearly cheap enough for me!

5/27/18

Michigan, Reed City.  1975 Centennial Half Dollar. The start?  Just $25.00, plus an additional $2.50 for shipping, of course.  Still available - at least until July 30 - as a BIN item at the same price.

5/27/18

Wyoming, Lovell.  1971 Mustang Dollar.  This choice copy had a $3.99 plus $2.80 start, which is reasonable, but no one bid.  The item was then made a BIN item and offered for $6.00 for four weeks.  When that time passed, the seller ended his listing unsold.

5/28/18

Hawaii, Hilo.  “1883” King Kalakaua Merry Monarch Festival Dollar in Aluminum.  Start $1.99 plus $2.50.  There were 5 bids from 4 bidders and the token sold for $8.39.

5/28/18

Hawaii.  1883-1983 King Kalakaua Centennial Dala.  A single coin cut from the set of 3 found on scraps of white metal scrap.  This one with a spoon-like appearance, the scrap acting as the handle, and the coin the bowl. Priced at a start of $77.99 with Free Shipping.  When no one was interested, the seller made it a Buy It Now item at $149.99, recently with a Best Offer option added.  Still available with the current listing ending on August 9.

5/28/18

Illinois, La Salle.  1967 Illinois Numismatic Association Commemorative Souvenir Half Dollar, issued by the Starved Rock Coin Club.  Some collectors include this in their MTC collections, because it says Commemorative Souvenir Half Dollar - but I do not list it because it seems to be a Coin Club issue that does not commemorate an event of national, state or local significance.  Anyway this common item is still available two months later, still for an opening bid of $20.00 plus $1.99 shipping.

5/28/18

Iowa, Clare.  1981 Irish Dollar.  Unknown mintage.  Catalog value $4.00.  The final issue of a 10 year series portraying ever more modern methods of carrying the mail.  This one portraying the space shuttle.  Unknown mintage.  Catalog value $4.00.  Start was $4.95 plus $2.66 shipping.  No bids, and still available at the same opening bid two full months later.

5/28/18

Minnesota, Brainerd.  1936 Paul Bunyan Exposition Quarter.  A neat item struck from brick red fiber.  Almost Uncirculated. I was the only interested person at the $9.99 plus $3.00 start.  Whatta deal!

5/28/18

Nevada.  1964 Centennial Year Service Club Coin in oxidized brass.  Start $4.00 with FREE postage.  Listed for three additional weeks at this start, then made a BIN item at $6.00 for a final week before being ended unsold.

5/29/18

Confederate States of America.  Undated copy of Confederate Half Dollar reverse.  This one noted to be 1/2 Ounce of Copper and made by the Patrick Mint on the other side.  I list another piece similar to the front of this this because that die was actually used on MTC’s.  This one was not.  If I can pick one up cheap, I’ll add it to my wannabe MTC collection, but this was too much for me. Housed in a second-tier grading company’s slab (NNC) it was graded MS-70.  It started at 99¢ plus $4.00 and sold for $11.00 after 8 bids by 2 bidders.

5/29/18

California.  1979 California Dollar in the small Susan B. Anthony Dollar size, by the Papel Mint.  Mintage 10,000.  Catalog value $3.00.  Offered for a while at $6.99 plus $3.00, somewhere along the line it became a BIN item for $4.99 plus $2.00. which actually sold on July 6.

5/29/18

Hawaii, Waikiki.  1997 Waikiki Dala with Mahalo Reverse.  Nice proof silver, in case of issue.  Priced at $99.00 with FREE shipping.  Still available at the same price.  The current listing ends on July 30.

Ohio, Shelby.  1934 Centennial Dime.  Very Fine to Extremely Fine.  Start $15.00 plus $2.80 shipping.  No bids.  Not relisted.

5/30/18

Florida, Pensacola.  1959 Quadri-Centennial Half Dollar.  Extremely Fine.  Sold to a single bidder for the opening bid of $3.99 plus $3.49.  Since it had been sold, Ebay came up with another one of them, this one a nicer About Uncirculated piece, that could be bought for $8.95 with FREE shipping.

5/30/18

Hawaii.  1990 King Kalakaua Hawaii Dala.  Proof silver, in case of issue. Listed for a month at $95.00, BIN, with FREE shipping, then ended unsold.

5/30/18

Iowa, State Center.  1973 Rhythm ’N Roses Tournament 100 Scents.  You could have bid on this one for $20.00 plus $3.50 shipping.  It is no longer available, and thanks to Ebay’s new listing policies, I can not tell if it sold or not - or if any changes were made to the price.  You can now check a seller’s sales for only the past 16 days, and I know he did not sell it in that period.  I sure hope nobody was desperate enough to have paid his price for it!  That data is no longer provided.  Thanks, Ebay!...This is the same listing I commented on in its listing of March 27.

5/31/18

Alabama, Mobile.  1961 250th Anniversary Half Dollar, Raphael Semmes version.  About Uncirculated.  The start was $8.74 with FREE shipping.  Two weeks later the seller lowered the start by a dime, all the way to $8.64, and when nobody bid he ended the listing.

5/31/18

Hawaii.  1883-1983 King Kalakaua Centennial Dala - 3 trial strikes on a square piece of scrap.  This one differs from the other offerings because it includes an example of the original nickel-silver piece.  It also differed in the cost - It was a Buy It Now item available for $145.95 with FREE shipping.  I can’t tell if it sold, but it is no longer available.
